Easy Ways to Save Money
Here are some simple tips to save money every month. Save $500 by bundling your insurance with one insurance provider! All insurance providers offer discounts to people who have more than one insurance type with them or more than one person on the policy. This is an easy way to save $500 a year without even feeling it. Think about the fun you could have with the extra money.
Shopping for your groceries in the evenings can save money, stores often mark down meat, dairy and other items after 5pm. Additionally you can take advantage of government stimulus incentives, if you have children you are eligible for money back and if you are renting a house you can look into tax incentives that will help you in purchasing your first home.
If you have debt, the best thing I can suggest is to consolidate all your payments into one loan with low interest. If you credit card is maxed out, close it or bring the balance to a minimum amount and pay it off with your new loan. Keeping your debt at a low interest, but with a larger payment each month will help get you out of debt faster and keep more money for yourself.
Personally I don’t enjoy budgeting, but it is a sure fire way to insure you keep your finances in order. Pull cash out every Friday as your allowance for the week and stick by it. Don’t use plastic. Using cash only when shopping that way you are not tempted to go over budget. Get receipts for everything you purchase and at the end of the month use them to analyze how much money you are actually spending. Eliminate any unnecessary expenses.
